Set on 5 acres of wonderful countryside on the shore of Lough Ree. Ideally located 3Km from Athlone town on N55 road.
Visitors may enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this family run park, with its own jetty and boat slip. Ideal for angling, boating, windsurfing, sailing and especially canoeing. This park is bordered by a 500 m stretch of the Breensford trout river. Convenient base for visiting Clonmacnoise, scenic walks; daily cruises on the River Shannon, golfing, horse riding, sailing locally. Recreation room and camper’s kitchen on site. Pub beside the park. Bus groups and clubs catered for; reductions for students or large groups.
Directions: Take the N55 off the Athlone Bypass, head North for 3km and the park is situated directly behind the stone clad house in village of Ballykeeran.
