Ballintaggart camping site is the only camping site located near Dingle Town. It is situated in the grounds of a magnificent 1703 Hunting Lodge overlooking Dingle Bay. It provides easy access to beaches, rock climbing, archaeological sites, interesting walks and Fungi the Dingle Dolphin.

Killarney Town: At bus or train station exit, turn right, onto Park Road, follow signs for N22 Cork Road. Straight through the roundabout at Hegarty’s store. At next roundabout (Super Valu), take 3rd exit, pass Killarney Heights Hotel, first right turn (sign-posted) and continue for 300 meters to entrance. N.B. hikers / cyclists short-cut - through housing estate at the bottom of the hill after the Killarney Heights Hotel.

From Killorglin/Limerick/Tralee: Follow N22, Cork Road. Take first right after Super Valu and Killarney Heights Hotel, continue 300 meters to entrance. From Kenmare / Ring of Kerry: On N71, pass Gleneagle Hotel & Flesk Bridge. At traffic lights, right turn (sign-posted). Proceed Woodlawn Road, Ballycasheen Road for 2 km to entrance.
