Longueville House & Presidents' Restaurant
Longueville Mallow Co. Cork
Longueville is located 3 miles (5km) west of Mallow
The house, a listed Heritage Georgian Manor (1720) boasts a splendid Victorian Conservatory which was constructed in 1866 by Richard Turner, the greatest ironmaster and designer of glasshouses of the Victorian era.
The Longueville Conservatory illustrates the lightness of effect made possible by new glass technology which allowed Turner to use bigger and wider panes than he had used previously at the Botanical Gardens, Belfast (1839), Glasnevin (1843-69) and Kew (1848).
There are twenty bedrooms all individually decorated in good taste and superb comfort. All rooms ensuite (bth/shr) and CTV. 5 Family rooms, 5 non-smoking rooms.
