We offer a country setting beside beautiful Lough Corrib. It is a fisherman’s paradise, with rods and boats available and a plentiful supply of lakes, rivers and underground streams. You can spend a week or more in Cong as there is a lot to do without breaking the bank. Entry to caves, mountains, towering forests, viewing of stone circles, cairns, scenic treks, walks and fishing are all as free as are the superb views of Connemara from Mount Gable which are sure to please you.
There are always plenty of activities to choose from and things to see such as historical Cong Abbey, castles, lake cruises, pony trekking and beautiful lakeside and forest walks. We also have a nightly showing of "The Quiet Man", and "Un Taxi Mauve" films for residents.
We have hostel accommodation with private and family rooms. Facilities include en-suite rooms, electric power points, barbecue area, children’s playground, games room, mini cinema, fresh water points, row boats for hire, boats and gilles available, a small shop, campers kitchen and hot showers.
Other facilities include a chemical disposal point, launderette, loan of guide books on Cong walks and sights, stories and history of Cong, fishing rods, bike rentals, bureau de change and an information point.
This is one of the cleanest caravan and camping parks in Ireland. We also have special meeting rooms available for hostel and camping groups.
