The Lodge has three comfortable rooms. The front door leads into the kitchen with country pine furniture, grey slate floor and a cosy eating area by the window.
The Livingroom, has a high ceiling and windows that overlook the parkland. French doors open into the garden. Two bookcases provide an eclectic collection of books and magazines and a mini hi-fi a good selection of music. There is an open fireplace.
The pretty double bedroom has an en suite shower room and will encourage lazy mornings. The shower room has a power shower and heated towel rail and is finished in white marble. Bed linen and towels are provided free.
Award winning Gate Lodge is located near Kells in historic Co Meath, Ireland. The Lodge, which sleeps two, is at the entrance to a small Georgian farmhouse and in a lovely mature parkland setting. Its gardens run down to the Tremblestown River. Visitors will find this the ideal place to relax and unwind, with little to disturb the peace and quiet but birdsong. Located within easy reach of Dublin Airport and you will find many fine golf courses, gardens and archaeological sites of interest close by.
