Courtyard Cottage (Sleeps 2) is the converted wing of a Victorian granite house, built in 1846. It has been completely renovated and is furnished with fitted wool carpets, antique furniture and all modern conveniences. French windows lead into a courtyard, and the house is set in 6 acres of wooded garden. Theres an open fire, but also oil-fired central heating. Both this and the electricity are included in the price. Also included is a starter pack of food, plus eggs from the chickens and (when in season) vegetables from the garden.
Walkers and golfers will love it here, the Wicklow Mountains are close by and there are 7 golf courses within 25 minutes. For fishermen, angling is available in the small river. But guests are never far from city lights; Dublin is only an hours drive away.
Additional accommodation consisting of one double bedroom and a bathroom is available in the main house if required.
