For the more energetic minded people there is almost every sporting activity available in the area from water sports to horse riding etc. Within a short distance of Dungarvan there are a number of lovely towns and villages worth a visit such as the beautiful seaside village of Ardmore and the heritage town of Lismore with its magnificent Lismore Castle.
