Milltown House is an award winning 4**** guesthouse which is family run period house set on its own grounds overlooking Dingle Bay and Harbour. House lends itself to those who like the special but quieter things in life. The house has ten bedrooms all furnished to the highest standards. All rooms have as you would expect bathroom / TV / direct dial phone, safety deposit box and Tea / Coffee making facilities. Located on the western side of the town at the start of the famous Slea Head Drive. There is a pay as you use Internet service in the lobby. Wonderful breakfast menu with buffet selection and at least 10 main course menu choices. Milltown House operates a no smoking policy for the entire house.
Milltown House itself is well over 100 years old, but has all modern conveniences. All ten of the bedrooms have direct dial telephones, televisions, alarm radios, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and en-suite bathrooms with shower and bath.
The house has a lovely conservatory, again overlooking Dingle Harbor. This is the breakfast room, where you can choose what you like from the buffet, and then enjoy anything from a wild honey pancake to a full Irish breakfast chosen from the extensive breakfast menu.
A light menu selection is offered on six days of the week from mid-day to 7:00 PM. This menu is ideal for those who feel like eating a bit more lightly. You may eat in the conservatory or, if you wish, you may have your selection served in your bedroom. The Milltown House caters for any special dietary needs if advised of requirements. A glass of wine can be enjoyed in the tastefully furnished lounge.
When the weather turns warm, there are tables and chairs on the lawn where you can really relax and look at the activity in Dingle Bay. On occasion you can see Fungie, Dingle's famous wild dolphin, jumping and playing near the harbour mouth.
