Cregg Castle is a wonderful, warm and historic house, built in 1648 on the site of an 11th Century Castle. Full of traditional Irish music and conversation by the fireside, it is situated on 165 acres of peaceful parkland in the heart of the West of Ireland.
15 Km north of Galway City near the village of Corrandulla. Quiet and secluded yet only 15 minutes drive away from Galway shopping and nightlife, and ideally situated for touring Connemara, Clare, Mayo and Galway. Fishing and horse riding can be found nearby as well as four pubs! It is advisable to have your own transport.
Rooms are comfortable and have a relaxed atmosphere. Children are welcome and infants stay free. Many of the guestrooms command lovely views of the surrounding countryside and are decorated with a blend of old style and contemporary furnishings. En suite rooms are quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds and great breakfasts complete the picture and provide for a relaxing stay.
