Clifden House is a family run business in a 180 year old four storey town house in the centre of Dublin. The rooms are all different sizes from single to family / group bedrooms, with double, twin and triple beds. The largest room has 1 double bed and three single beds. All rooms have television, telephone and tea making facilities. There is a choice of rooms with bath or rooms with shower. A full traditional Irish breakfast is served along with fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit to set you up for the day!

Conveniently situated only 10 minutes walk from the city centre, there is a variety of interesting places to visit. Trinity College, which houses the famous Book of Kells; Writer's Museum; Henry Lane Gallery in Parnell Square; The National Gallery and Museum on Merrion Square; Dublin Castle and Christ Church and St Patrick's Cathedral.The National Museum is located at Collins Barracks near the River Liffey. One can also visit the Guinness Hopstore and the Whiskey Corner run by the Old Jameson Distillery.

St Stephen's Green shopping centre at the top of Grafton Street, and Henry Street provide excellent and interesting shopping facilities.

Bus Tours are available to Malahide Castle in the north, passing, en route, the National Botanical Gardens, the Casino at Marino and on to the fishing village of Howth to view Dublin Bay. Bus Tours to the south pass
Dun Laoghaire, the James Joyce Tower at Sandycare and onto the seaside town of Bray. The Tour makes a stop at Avoca Hanweavers at Kilmacanogue, and returns to Dublin through the Dublin and Wicklow mountains and villages.
